For a host of reasons, Piotr is one of my favorite photographers to work with. Firstly, he is very talented in his trade his ability to capture and edit shots to perfection sets him amongst Calgary’s finest. Secondly, whenever I have shot with Piotr it has always been a wonderful experience. He is not only friendly, but he is always a blast to work with! He ensures that every step of the photographic process runs smoothly- both for experienced and amateur subjects. For those who need it he is a fantastic coach, he will help you tweak your poses to make sure it is translating the way you want it to on camera. I have worked with Piotr on a large spectrum of styles (commercial, boudoir, creative shoots, and event photography) and his skills truly transcend through them all. Specifically, during my boudoir shoot with him, he was always extremely respectful and understanding- which really helped me to be at ease! We had chosen Piotr Filipek to do all of our photos from our Engagement to our Wedding and many of the events in-between. Piotr created a laid back atmosphere with humor to keep us smiling throughout our sessions. His creative style is not like typical photographers of posing and being statues but rather a hangout, it was just fun!
He went above and beyond just to find the perfect photo booth props for our wedding and there was a line up for it the whole night! His product choice and quality was impeccable, we are so proud to show off our beautiful photo album to anyone who comes to our home.

Piotr did an amazing job for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier. From the very beginning, Piotr was dedicated to capturing our special day exactly how we wanted it. Piotr met with us several times before our wedding day to scout out photography locations and was very giving of his time. On our wedding day, Piotr was fantastic; organizing family and the wedding party for pictures, traveling to more than one location for photo opportunities, and going with the flow and supporting the dream we had for our wedding.
